Thomas–You may be right, but I still prefer to think that McCain was just bat-shit fucking crazy. The selection of Palin had to be one of the biggest mistakes ever. The Arctic Twat did him in and made all republicans look a little silly.

You know what makes me all warm and fuzzy and gives me a stiffy?
Well, let me share.

One of my DC contacts (yes I actually know people of some importance) claimed that McCain wanted Lieberman as his running mate. Flat out demanded it and the republitard powers that be told him no just no or HELL NO, but do it and you will not get the nomination at all.

So his response was the give them the finger and pick Palin.
He knew what/who she was. He knew the impact she would have. The republitards never seem to have caught on.

For the record, my contact does work in Congress and probably knows far more than I ever will. He said the Demotards feared the McCain/Lieberman match up worse than death itself.

Me? I like to think that McCain is the man I thought he was and gave the republitards a big hefty Alaskan “FUCK YOU” with Palin.

MI–There was a time when the republicans were a pretty decent bunch. They didn’t always have “our” best interest in mind–at least not directly, but at least they weren’t “evil.” I do have to give Bush and company some credit though. Somehow they managed to convince their base that they did have their best interest in mind while they destroyed our country. They suck. End of story.

RB–There is that tendency among politicians. As a group and generally speaking, they are not to be trusted. I really wish that America had a way to vote them out of office. I think until we do get that ability, they will not be “working” for us.
